After having completed our Transafrican overland adventure along the African east coast, we are now back home on our small North Sea island "Spiekeroog" in Germany. Here is an outline of our planned "route" and our "real route". Our Land Rover is still in Rotterdam because the container it was shipped in was spider-infected and we first have to get rid of the spiders before taking "Nayti", our fifth family member, back home.
Of course, we have many new plans. For now, we can inform you here that our new short term project is an overland trip to Lapland and Cape North next summer together with our South African friends Kathy and Ross.
The long term plan will be finding a family boat for our "overseas" project "Ocean Gypsies".

Hello and thanks for logging in to our blog!
Our dream for a long time has been to go traveling independently along roads less traveled by, meet different people, share different opinions and discover different cultures. This dream has become reality and we go overlanding in our Land Rover whenever it is possible. On this blog, we share our personal travel-experiences (see our travel blog entries) and whatever resources that helped us in the planning processes.
If you want to be kept informed about new posts, you can sign in to the blog via the "register" function in the "Register & User Menu" on the right or you can follow us on Facebook. For contacting us directly, you can either post a "comment" or use the contact form.
